Unknown country of origin, three-piece Art Déco Egyptian Revival silver (800) set with a total weight of 25.2 g and circular pendants 3.5 cm wide, featuring Nefertiti with the Ankh, a ceremonial pharaoh and a regal effigy, all hallmarked with Ibis, Ayn and 800 silver marks, dating to circa 1934–1946 in good vintage condition with natural patina.
Description from the seller
Splendid lot composed of three pieces in 800 silver finely worked by hand in a pierced (filigree) style (Egyptian Revival), dating to the first half of the 20th century (estimated period 1934-1946).
The lot includes:
1. Large circular pin/pendant with the profile of Queen Nefertiti and the Ankh (Key of Life).
2. Medium circular pendant depicting a deity/pharaoh in a ceremonial scene with papyrus stalks.
3. Small circular pendant with a regal effigy.
All pieces bear on the reverse the official marks of the era's Egyptian Wigi (Office) – clearly visible is the national Ibis mark (used until 1946), the dated Arabic letter Ayn (ع) corresponding to the 1930s, and the hallmark identifying the 800 silver fineness.
Excellent vintage condition with a beautiful natural antique patina that is not polished. No damage or restorations present.
Total weight of the lot: 25.20 grams.
