Khmer Silver Ceremony Belt – Floral Engraving Work
This unique piece is a remarkable example of Khmer silverware, blending flexibility and robustness.
• Structure and Mesh: The belt consists of a complex assembly of articulated links and horizontal silver bars, offering perfect flexibility to fit the waist.
• Central Buckle: The centerpiece is a quadrilobed buckle (flower-shaped) adorned with a central high-relief floral motif at the top, surrounded by refined vegetal scrolls.
• Decorative Elements: The buckle is framed by two heart-shaped medallions, echoing the same floral motif, creating visual harmony on the front of the belt.
