Old brass-band (or military) drum dating probably from the early 20th century (circa 1900–1930). The shell is brass with a beautiful original patina. The instrument retains its tensioning system, its leather carrying strap, and its drumhead. A stamp is visible on the shell, but it does not allow definite identification of the manufacturer. The piece is in good condition with wear consistent with its age. An ideal item for a collector of antique instruments, militaria, or as a decorative object. 38 cm in diameter.
