The Alma is one of the most iconic silhouettes in the Louis Vuitton archive, originally designed in the 1930s and inspired by the Pont de l'Alma in Paris. Its structured dome shape, double zip closure and rolled leather handles have made it a lasting favourite among collectors.

This piece carries a beautiful honey-amber patina on the vachetta leather, developed naturally over three decades of use. The golden brass hardware has aged into a warm, deep tone that gives the bag genuine vintage character.

Included with the bag are the original Louis Vuitton padlock, two keys and the key holder ring.

Condition

Overall in good vintage condition for its age.
The Monogram canvas remains firm and holds its shape well.
The vachetta leather has darkened to a rich honey tone, with surface scuffs, colour variation and dryness consistent with age.
Light cracking and rubbing can be seen on the handles and on the leather tabs at the base.
Small scratches and dark spots are present on the leather trim.
The interior lining is clean overall with only faint marks, and both zips open and close smoothly.
