Description from the seller
Raymor – Italian Mid-Century Ceramic Jug/Pitcher (1950s)
Decorative ceramic jug produced in Italy for Raymor, the renowned New York importer and distributor that collaborated with leading Italian ceramic workshops during the 1950s and 1960s. Rather than manufacturing its own ceramics, Raymor commissioned and selected designs from distinguished Italian factories, making these pieces highly sought after by collectors today.
This example features a sculptural organic form with a textured green glaze, deep cobalt blue body, and an abstract geometric decoration in yellow, blue, white, and black—an excellent representation of Italian mid-century ceramic design.
The underside bears the original factory production code. The brown mark on the base is not a defect, but the residue of a label that was once attached, most likely the original Raymor label.
Condition: Very good vintage condition with light signs of age and use, consistent with its age.
Shipping: The item will be carefully packed and shipped with tracking. Insurance is included in the shipping fee. Any customs duties, taxes or import fees are the buyer's responsibility.
