Art Deco perfume bottle in uranium glass with original stopper – c. 1925–1935

Description

Elegant Art Deco perfume bottle made of pressed uranium glass, in a yellow-green hue and with strong green fluorescence under ultraviolet light.

The body features rich geometric relief decoration, with vertical facets, rhomboid motifs and floral medallions. It retains its original stopper, also in uranium glass, decorated with vegetal motifs and equipped with a frosted finial.

The piece is attributed to Verreries de Scailmont, Belgium.
