Eberhard & Co. - Champion Chronograph "Lemania 5100" - Ref. 31022 CA - Men / Unisex - 1990-1999

Splendid and iconic automatic chronograph from Eberhard & Co., Champion, reference 31022 CA (31022/10), dating from the 1990s. A piece of great collectible interest, featuring a stunning configuration with a black three-subdial "Reverse Panda" dial in white/silvery counters with contrasting elegant gold details.
The heart of this timepiece is the legendary automatic mechanical movement Lemania 5100, famous for its military robustness and for the iconic central chronograph minute function.
The watch comes in an exceptionally rich set, ideal for collectors, including the original wooden box, vintage tag (with the original price in Lire of L. 2,025,000), additional links for the bracelet, and a very rare original Eberhard replacement sub-dial in Bordeaux/Bordeaux-gold color with its components.
Condition and Recent Interventions
The watch has just undergone a complete documented service (dated 18/03/2026), visible in the attached photos.
Mechanical: It runs perfectly in all functions (timekeeping, date-setting, and chronograph reset).
Interventions performed: During the service, gaskets were replaced and a new crystal was fitted.
Glass note: The installed crystal is Exalite/plexiglass (plastic), faithful to the original specifications of the era. Due to the intrinsic delicacy of the material, the crystal has unfortunately already sustained a few light superficial scratches from use after the intervention, visible when viewed against the light (easily polishable with Polywatch if desired by the future buyer).
