George Chevalier Panther "Baccarat"
This is a crystal Art Deco tiger sculpture in a cubist style, designed by the French designer Georges Chevalier for the famous glassmaker Baccarat.
Design year: circa 1925.
Style: Modernist, cubist and abstract-geometric.
Material: Made from a single solid piece of clear lead crystal.
Dimensions: Approximately 10 cm high and 14.5 cm long.
Brand information: Original early examples from this period are not signed.
From 1937 onward Baccarat started to structurally mark its figurines with a brand name or etched stamp.
Georges Chevalier joined Baccarat in 1916 and played a key role in modernizing the luxury brand’s style in the 20th century.
This specific figurine (sometimes also referred to as a panther) is a sought-after collectible from the heyday of the Art Deco period.
The panther is in good condition; under the panther there is only a small air bubble that formed during production.

Excellent designed stylish Art Deco snuff box with a relief decoration of two reclining nude women. Designed by Curt Schlevogt/Jablonec n. Nisou (Gablonz).
The snuff box is part of the so-called Ingrid Collection, inspired by the name of his daughter.
The design is from 1925.

* Daum vase
Elegant small crystal vase designed by Daum. This vase is a corporate gift from a hardware store in Copenhagen in the 1950s. The bottom is engraved with: "Erik Wiese Holmbladsgade 90 Am 7852-" and the company logo in the middle (image 5).
The hardware store was called at the time "Isenkram Erik Wiese, Copenhagen - Amager".
This Daum Nancy vase was a precious gift for his loyal customers.
The meaning of the inscription
Recipient / Giver: Erik Wiese was the owner of a well-known ironmonger (isenkram) in Copenhagen.
The Address: The text "Holmbladsgade 70" (often numbered around 70-90 at the time) was the physical location of his iron shop in the Amager district of Copenhagen.
The Purpose: In the 1950s, Erik Wiese ordered luxury crystal vases directly from the French glass house Daum Nancy. He had the address, his name, and the logo of his ironmongers (the EW letters in the circle) engraved in the bottom. He then gave these exclusive vases as luxury corporate gifts to his most loyal business clients.
Thus, the vase itself is an authentic piece of French crystal. The scratches on the bottom were made specifically in Denmark on behalf of the local entrepreneur Erik Wiese.
Unique origin: Because this is a personalized promotional or corporate gift from the Danish entrepreneur Erik Wiese, it is a unique collectible. This historical story compensates for the bottom not being in pristine, untouched condition.

The object is a vintage Scandinavian glass ice sculpture (also known as Art Glass Ice Sculpture).
The rough, textured design mimics a natural rock formation or an iceberg.
Features & Origins
• Style: Organic design inspired by Scandinavian nature (ice, rocks and waterfalls, geometric forms of glacier ice or basalt columns). It has a flat, polished top and bottom with rough, textured sides.
• Potential glass factories:
This type of ice crystal sculpture was widely produced in the 1960s–70s by well-known Swedish glassworks such as Pukeberg, Nybro, Kosta Boda, or Lindshammar. The object is purely decorative as an art object (paperweight or sculpture), letting the glass refract light in a unique way. Similar to minerals. The form is inspired by natural structures. As a result, visually it bears strong resemblance to a rough white selenite tower/iceberg. However, due to the high transparency, the shine, and the specific casting marks, this piece is clearly made of solid glass.

* White spiral vase
