“Amori degli dei”
The composition juxtaposes human existence, with its fleeting beauty and all that derives from it, against the eternal monumentality of the metaphysical world of the gods. The work explores the most dramatic and fascinating core of classical myth: the ambiguous relationship between the divine and the human, almost always consumed through the overwhelming force of eros. In Greek and Roman mythology, the love of the gods is never spiritual or detached; it is an elemental force that breaks down the boundaries between worlds. The immortals become flesh, swan, rain of gold, or creature in order to possess mortal beauty, leaving the human being divided between the terror of the sacred and the ecstasy of desire. Yet, in this game of gazes between living flesh and the monumental dimension of the divine, distance dissolves. The beauty of the woman is not submissive, but a mirror and cause of the Olympian torment: it is the gods who desire the man, and it is the man, with his fragility, who gives meaning to the eternity of the mythological universe.

The classical myth and how it is encoded in our genes; it marks our cultural identity: it is part of us, of our life, it continues to live with us and among us.
My painting arises from a constant dialogue between instinct and construction. Painting, for me, is an act of discovery: a quest that starts from the physical gesture, corporeal, but quickly opens to inner and broader temporal dimensions.
The through-line across my works is the subtle link between visible and invisible, between matter and spirit, between external form and inner content.
Every figure I paint seems to emerge from a threshold: it is there, present, and yet on the point of vanishing.
Memory plays a central role in my work: not as a simple recollection, but as an intersection of times, experiences, images. My paintings are often built as stratifications - as if they gathered what has been, what is, and what might have been.
In this sense, painting becomes a temporal crossroads, a place where bodies, shadows, dreams, and remnants meet. A gesture that tries to hold, even if only for a moment, something that is about to disappear.

Because the use of any innovative tool such as artificial intelligence is not contemplable without a deep contamination of the painterly identity, drawing and composition remain the pure fruit of my own visions and painting knowledge.
