Description
An impressive antique brass charcoal samovar dating to the late 19th or early 20th century.
Crafted from solid brass, the samovar features a traditional cylindrical body raised on a square pedestal base, elegant cast side handles with turned wooden grips, an original brass tap, and a classic charcoal heating system. Its balanced proportions and robust construction reflect the high level of craftsmanship associated with traditional metalwork of the period.
The lid bears two original retailer’s marks, both now partially worn and no longer fully legible. These historic marks provide an interesting indication of the object’s commercial history. The base is additionally stamped with the production or model number “056”.
Due to its age, the samovar has not been tested for functionality and is therefore offered primarily as an antique collectible and decorative work of art.
