Exclusive vintage Hollywood Regency putti / cherub table lamp – Cast alabaster & engraved glass – Italy – ca. 1970

A very exclusive and decorative vintage table lamp in Hollywood Regency style, manufactured in the last quarter of the 20th century (ca. 1970).
This lamp is a stunning statement piece that combines classical elegance with a warm, atmospheric light.
The masterfully designed pedestal features a detailed, three-dimensional sculpture of two playing putti (angels) around a central Corinthian column.
The sculpture is made from high-quality cast alabaster (alabaster composite), giving the figures a silky, marble-like appearance.
The whole rests on a contrasting, warm-toned base that further accentuates the neoclassical form.
The lamp is equipped with a large, globe-shaped glass shade of exceptional quality.
The shade features refined, matte horizontal lines and a beautiful central engraved floral pattern. When the lamp is lit, this engraved glass provides a stunning, diffuse filtering of the light, making the classic relief of the two angels come beautifully to life.
