Description from the seller

EXCLUSIVELY FOR: NO RESERVE WEEK

This exceptional painting shows a towering cliff plunging into the sea, with a small settlement built directly on the rock.
The atmosphere is intense and melancholic, perhaps at sunset, with light reflecting on the sea in soft and nuanced tones. The houses, partly ruined, seem to belong to a bygone era, immersed in a landscape almost suspended in time. On the left, a rock stands out in the water, adding a dynamic and narrative element to the scene.
The painting technique, material and dense especially on the rocks, creates a strong sense of depth and drama. The warm earth tones blend with the cool shades of the sea, accentuating the contrast between the stability of the rock and the movement of the water.
The work conveys a sense of isolation and austere beauty, typical of evocative landscape painting of the twentieth century.
Also beautiful is the black lacquered wooden frame, handmade and with a gold inlay that gives it the perfect union of Italian art.

Please note that the work in question, given its age, may present small defects, breaks, missing parts, etc. This should be considered an essential part given the passage of time!

Our shipments are fast, professional and perfectly protected in the packaging!
From this derive the shipping costs for the service.

Due to art laws, no lot will be sold outside Europe (Schengen area) except by private arrangements at the buyer’s expense.
