Irina Biatturi, winner of the Public Prize and the prestigious President’s Prize at the Florence Biennale 2023 in Italy, awarded as the Best European Artist at World Art Dubai 2024, and a former student of the Nicolae Grigorescu Academy of Fine Arts (UNArte) in Bucharest, has devoted herself to painting since childhood. Having lived in several countries, notably Mexico and New Zealand, she now considers Antibes her home and artistic center. Her striking oil paintings, focused on themes of femininity and sensuality, are deeply influenced by the elegance of Art Deco, the organic forms of Art Nouveau, and the radiant ambiance of the French Riviera, where she has resided for over two decades.
Her oil paintings evoke a sense of peace and tranquility, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in the glamorous and enthralling atmosphere of the Roaring Twenties on the Côte d’Azur. Her works are now part of numerous private collections and have been exhibited in prestigious galleries, museums, and international art fairs.
Moreover, her works have been featured in publications such as Nice Matin, Vauban Magazine, Toutma, La Strada, Maisons et Jardins Magazine, COTE Magazine, Univers des Arts, and others, as well as on book covers for acclaimed authors Serena McLeen and Jessica Anthony.
