Barbara Bartolomei - Margherita

I am Barbara Bartolomei. I create paintings on a wide range of subjects, including portraits, the human figure and animals, landscapes, still life, sacred art, and fantasy compositions. My painting technique unfolds through several specific stages of work as taught by the masters of Florentine Renaissance, primarily creating oil compositions but also experimenting with different techniques.
I studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and at the Sacred Art School of Florence. I am a painting teacher for adults, an instructor in international master’s programs and summer courses for Italian and international students. I have collaborated in the creation of large-format sacred works and have curated exhibition projects, from graphics to the photographic catalog.
I have sold works throughout Europe and outside the EU, painting both on commission and for auctions and private collectors. I paint everything that is expressible through beauty, in a dimension of meeting between dream and reality.
