We present at auction a highly elegant mechanical chronograph from the Swiss firm Maurice Lacroix, representative of the classic, refined aesthetics that characterized the brand during the 1990s.

Classic Dial and Bicolor Design: The watch stands out for its captivating dark blue dial, which creates an appealing contrast with the three silvered sub-dials of the chronograph (arranged at 6, 9, and 12). Time reading is through elegant Roman numerals and Breguet-style hands in a gold tone. The stainless steel case is enhanced with a stepped bezel, crown, and chronograph pushers gold-plated, giving it a sophisticated and versatile appearance.

Prestigious Mechanics: Inside lies a robust and prestigious automatic-winding chronograph movement of Swiss manufacture (known for using the reliable and durable Valjoux 7750 base), guaranteeing excellent performance.

Bidders are asked to closely examine the photo gallery to verify the piece’s real condition:

Case and Bezel: The stainless steel case and the gold-toned components are in very good overall condition. They show fine micro-scratches and typical signs of use, but no deep wear on the plating.

Crystal and Dial: The dial is in magnificent condition, clean and perfectly legible. The crystal is in good condition.

Caseback: Screw-down stainless steel back. It shows multiple superficial scratches from use and prolonged desk support, but all factory engravings (including reference 03291) are clearly legible.

Bracelet: Supplied mounted on a blue textured leather strap (not original to the brand) in very good usable condition, with a steel buckle.

Mechanical: Automatic movement in working order. The chronograph functions start, stop, and reset to zero without issues. (Note: As this is a vintage/neo-vintage collectible watch, the original water resistance cannot be guaranteed, nor is the date of its last service known).
