Original work belonging to the series "Memoria del agua", a pictorial investigation that explores the landscape through the relationship between water, vegetation, and light.

The composition guides the eye along a path that crosses the garden and opens toward the marine horizon. The color planes unfold naturally, building depth through temperature contrasts and a visible brushstroke that preserves the energy of the painting process.
The greens, turquoises and blues are balanced with warm accents of yellows, pinks and ochres, generating a luminous atmosphere where vegetation and architecture integrate in a single space. The simplification of forms and the freedom of the gesture reinforce the contemporary character of the work without losing the reference to the Mediterranean landscape.

R. Serra is a visual artist based in Spain whose practice centers on pictorial research and the mechanisms of image construction. His training in Plastic Arts, with a specialty in painting, together with later studies in graphic design, shape a language that places painting in dialogue with the aesthetics and visual logics of digital culture.
His work investigates memory as a process of editing and reconstruction, where lived and imagined memories converge to generate images that challenge the stability of representation. Through painting, he explores the tensions between presence and absence, experience and fiction, proposing scenes suspended between the intimate and the universal.

During the last decade he has developed an exhibition career that includes group shows at national and international galleries, consolidating his presence in the context of contemporary art.
