The work represents the passage of the piece from the external wall to the interior space of buildings. What is born on the street, in the urban and public context, is transferred inside of buildings, houses or museums, completely changing the environment and meaning. In this case, the most interesting wall corner is selected and cut, the one on which the street artist had carried out the exterior intervention. The fragment is then detached from the street’s original context and transformed into an autonomous object. Once cut, this piece of wall can be transported and placed indoors: in homes, palaces, museums or other buildings. In this way the work changes environment and function, moving from the public and daily street space to a private or institutional space, where it is preserved and displayed as a true artistic object. All of this represents a kind of imagined reconstruction by the artist, reflecting on the process of relocating the work from the urban context to the domestic or museum setting.

The natural imperfections, marks and dents of the materials are not defects, but an integral part of the work: they bear witness to its urban life and reinforce the piece’s identity as true Street Art.

The work is delivered ready to hang. Upon the client’s request, framing can be arranged afterward.
