Description from the seller
"Abrazo" is an original work belonging to the series "Anatomy of the Gesture", a set of paintings that investigates the representation of the human figure through a gestural and contemporary language. The composition focuses attention on a female body, built from free brushstrokes, transparent glazes, and lines that remain visible throughout the painting process. The drawing does not delimit the shapes, but dialogues with the color stains, allowing the figure to be defined by the relationship between gesture, light, and matter. It represents a woman who also becomes landscape. The earth tones, ochres, pinks, and violets palette adds depth and warmth, while the transparencies and chromatic superpositions generate a sense of continuous movement. The economy of resources and formal synthesis place emphasis on the plastic strength of the composition and the visual intensity of the encounter between the figures.

Bio: Since I was a child I have felt an inclination toward creation in all its forms. From my earliest crafts to painting, where I found my main language of expression. Thus I discovered a universe full of possibilities to convey my ideas, concerns, and emotions. I am especially interested in creating compositions that offer the viewer a point of view from which they can identify. Whether through discomfort, serenity, or contemplation, my intention is to generate a space for reflection and questioning. On a pictorial level, I am drawn to vibrant colors, strong saturations, and fresh chromatic ranges. I find a great source of inspiration in observing our social and natural surroundings. I often like to imagine that I am observing the planet from far away; that symbolic distance allows me to rethink reality from another perspective. I also explore the universe of the feminine, addressing its multiple dimensions from a personal, sensitive, and introspective viewpoint.
