Description from the seller
BOSQUE INGRÁVIDO 143 is part of a series inspired by Magritte and contemporary surrealism. This work is part of a series that sublimates the natural and the impossible in a single vision. In “Ingravidal Forest,” the trunks float without roots, stripped of the gravity that binds them to the ground. The landscape becomes a stage for the unlikely: a forest that is not sustained by the laws of physics, but by the rules of the imagination.
The reference to Magritte, as well as to Dalí, is not accidental: like him, the artist invites us to contemplate a world where the everyday becomes strange, and the impossible, evident. The trees suspended in the air compel us to rethink the concept of what is organic and stable, while the chromatic play—with electric blues, incandescent reds, and deep shadows—intensifies the dreamlike atmosphere.
This series raises essential questions: What happens when we remove the weight from nature? Can weightlessness reveal another dimension of the landscape, one more emotional than physical? “Ingravidal Forest” is both a metaphor and a provocation, a visual release that defies logic to reveal a new poetic space.
“Ingravidal Forest” by itself evokes a powerful image: floating trees that challenge not only physics but also our perception of what a forest should be.
