"El resplandor" belongs to the series "Memoria del agua," a pictorial investigation into the relationship between landscape, light, and memory. The composition centers around a broad surface of water that reflects the luminosity of the horizon and guides the eye toward a distant landscape barely suggested. The space is built through glazes, transparencies, and a gestural brushstroke that preserves the freshness of the process, while small notes of color emerge on the surface like flashes of vegetation and reflections.

The palette, dominated by aquamarine greens, turquoises, violets, and yellows, creates a silent atmosphere in which the landscape seems suspended between observation and memory. The work does not seek to describe a concrete place, but to capture the changing experience of light on water and the calm that it produces.

R. Serra is a visual artist based in Spain whose practice centers on pictorial research and the mechanisms of image construction. Her training in Plastic Arts, with a specialization in painting, together with later studies in graphic design, shapes a language that places painting in dialogue with the aesthetics and visual logics of digital culture.
Her work investigates memory as a process of editing and reconstruction, where lived and imagined memories converge to generate images that probe the stability of representation. Through painting, she explores the tensions between presence and absence, experience and fiction, proposing scenes suspended between the intimate and the universal.

During the last decade she has developed an exhibition trajectory that includes group shows in national and international galleries, consolidating her presence in the context of contemporary art.
