B. Morah, Bosque Ingrávido 98 XL, original acrylic on canvas, 100 cm by 75 cm, hand-signed, produced in 2026, Spain, a surreal landscape with floating trees in multicolour.
Description from the seller
INGRAVID FOREST 98 is part of a series inspired by Magritte and contemporary surrealism.
This work is part of a series that sublimates the natural and the impossible in a single vision. In “Ingravíd Forest,” the trunks float without roots, relieved of the gravity that ties them to the ground. The landscape becomes the stage of the improbable: a forest that is not sustained by the laws of physics, but by the rules of imagination.
The reference to Magritte is not accidental: like him, the artist invites us to contemplate a world where the everyday becomes strange, and the impossible, evident. The trees suspended in the air compel us to rethink the concept of what is organic and stable, while the chromatic play — with electric blues, incandescent reds and deep shadows — intensifies the dreamlike atmosphere.
This series raises essential questions: What happens when we take weight away from nature? Can loftiness reveal another dimension of the landscape, one more emotional than physical? “Ingravíd Forest” is both a metaphor and a provocation, a visual release that challenges logic to reveal a new poetic space.
“Ingravíd Forest” in itself already evokes a powerful image: floating trees that challenge not only physics but also our perception of what a forest should be.
