Brief Bio: O. Delgado is a Cuban-Spanish visual artist based in Spain and trained in Visual Arts at the University of the Arts (ISA), Havana.
With more than 15 years of professional experience, he has developed a solid pictorial practice spanning different genres, including abstraction, portraiture, still life, and contemporary reinterpretation of themes related to nature and everyday experience.
He has participated in solo and group exhibitions in Cuba and Spain, and his work is part of private collections in the United States and Spain, as well as institutional collections and foundations in Mexico and Spain.
His work is characterized by a special attention to color, atmosphere, and the construction of the image, combining a rigorous technical base with a constant search for new plastic and expressive solutions.
