Exceptional and rare monumental living-room lamp, standing no less than 77 cm tall. Dating from the late 1960s or early 1970s, this spectacular piece embodies all the boldness and refinement of the Space Age futuristic trend. It features a deep-relief geometric texture (diamond-point / hobnail style), offering a unique light diffusion and striking textured reflections when illuminated. The base and the intermediate ring are accented with brass or chrome metal finishes. Superb and imposing high-end table lamp, dating from the late 1960s or early 1970s. This piece fits perfectly with the Space Age futuristic design trend of the era. The thick cylindrical foot in molded-pressed glass showcases a magnificent relief geometric texture, creating spectacular light play once the lamp is on. The base is finished with a gilded brass/chrome collar. The upper part is crowned by a metal stem supporting a large glass globe with a mirrored silver/chrome finish, typical of productions by designers such as Motoko Ishii for Staff Leuchten or the glassworks of the Danish publisher Vitrika.
