O. Delgado, 2026 original acrylic painting on canvas titled 'La tarde naranja - XL', 100 × 70 cm, hand-signed, in excellent condition, shipped directly from the artist and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
"La tarde naranja" transforms an everyday scene into an exercise of color, rhythm, and contemplation. The figure, depicted from behind, occupies the center of the composition while remaining immersed in a moment of pause. The intense orange background dialogues with blues, greens, and pinks, generating a chromatic tension that defines the space and envelops the entire scene in a warm, vibrant light.
The work is made with a loose, expressive brushstroke that simplifies forms without losing their visual strength. The color contrasts, transparencies, and visible gestures turn the painting process into an essential part of the image.
A singular detail appears on the wall: two flowers drawn with a spontaneous, almost childlike stroke, bursting into the composition as an unexpected note. That small gesture establishes a dialogue between painting and drawing, between observed reality and imagination, bringing freshness and a delicate playful sense to the work.
