Painted with acrylic paints and Acrylic Ink on sturdy artist paper, repeatedly sealed with varnish.
The back bears my artist stamp, is dated and again signed.

I am AniB – an artist with Latvian roots, living in Germany since 1990.
Today my works almost exclusively emerge on paper. This more compact and tranquil working method suits not only my creative process but also serves as a response to health challenges. It fits well with my daily life and gives me the space to immerse myself fully in the motif.

My works often come in small series and in changing styles – for me, art lives on curiosity, not repetition.
I studied art and illustration in Riga; since the 1990s I have been professionally active – with exhibitions at home and abroad.

I love creating characters with personality – beings that carry a small story within them. Sometimes quirky, sometimes quietly contemplative, often with a wink.

Each of my works is a handmade original – painted with care, humor, and heart. Perhaps one of them speaks to you.
