Victor Freytag (born 1870) was a German painter who was active around 1900 in Berlin's art scene. His works were exhibited at important art exhibitions of his time, including the Great Berlin Art Exhibition of 1906 and the Deutsch-National Art Exhibition of 1907 at the Municipal Art Palace in Düsseldorf.

His participation in these regionally noteworthy exhibitions is particularly noteworthy, as they represented an important platform for contemporary artists at the time.

One of the works shown there was, among others, the painting “Portrait of My Wife.”

Today, works by Victor Freytag are rarely found on the art market.
