Stained glass window - 1950-1960 - Rose flower

A atmospheric and decorative round stained glass window with a beautiful red rose as the central motif. The flower is executed in deep ruby red structure glass and is framed by fresh green leaves and clear colorless glass. Thanks to the round shape and the strong, simple composition a timeless design emerges that comes wonderfully to life in the incoming light.

Especially in the second half of the 20th century handmade stained glass panels with floral representations became popular as decorative window hangings for homes, verandas and conservatories. They brought color and atmosphere into the house without taking away daylight.

This panel is composed of separate pieces of structure glass connected with traditional lead profiles.
