I am AniB – an artist with Latvian roots, living in Germany since 1990.
Today my works are almost exclusively created on paper. This more compact and calmer working method reflects not only my creative process but is also a response to health challenges. It fits well into my daily life and gives me space to immerse myself fully in the motif.

My works often come in small series and in changing styles – because for me art lives on curiosity, not repetition.
I studied Art and Illustration in Riga, and since the 1990s I have worked professionally – with exhibitions at home and abroad.

I love creating figures with character – beings that carry a small story within them. Sometimes whimsical, sometimes quietly contemplative, often with a wink.

Each of my works is a handmade original – painted with care, humor and heart. Perhaps one of them will speak to you.
