# About Karl Lagasse

Karl Lagasse is a French contemporary artist whose works are recognized internationally. He particularly stood out thanks to his **One Dollar** sculptures, which earned him, in **2009**, a place by Artprice among the ten best sculptors under thirty.

In **2012**, New York publisher **Farameh** selected him among fifty contemporary artists featured in the volume *FOR WHICH IT STANDS: Americana in Contemporary Art*, dedicated to creators inspired by emblematic symbols of the United States.
