From the private collection of Corrado Bongiovanni, this refined art edition represents a significant example of Italian artistic publishing in the 1990s, born from the meeting of contemporary poetry and copper engraving.

The volume gathers the poems of Eugenio De Signoribus (1947), one of the most authoritative voices in contemporary Italian poetry, accompanied by fourteen original etchings, each created by a different artist.

As stated in the colophon, the work was printed by Grafiche Fioroni in December 1996 on Graphia paper from the SI.CA.R.S. paper mills in Catania.

The total edition is limited to 150 copies, divided as follows:

100 copies numbered and signed from 1 to 100;
50 copies numbered in Roman numerals from I to L.

The offered copy is XII/L, belonging to the smallest series numbered in Roman numerals.

The colophon also notes that at the end of the edition all the plates were struck through, guaranteeing the definitive closure of the edition.

The work constitutes an interesting testimony to the collaboration between poets and engravers promoted by Grafiche Fioroni, a publishing house that played an important role in the diffusion of Italian artist books.
