Item Description
This lot is a set of two traditional lidded kōgō (incense containers) used in the tea ceremony (chadō) and incense ceremony (kōdō).
The first piece is a kōgō glazed in a soft greyish-green celadon glaze, featuring fine concentric circular and dot patterns applied using the Mishima (zōgan/inlay) technique, which encircle the entire surface.
