Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born in 1966) is a Marche-based artist whose life has deep roots in artisanal craftsmanship. For forty years he has worked in the shadows of his workshop in a small municipality among the hills of Marche, specializing at the highest level in resin processing, painting, and chroming.
The turning point of his life comes with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and the suspension of time transform into an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he had always kept inside. What for decades had been "only" a technique of excellence thus becomes the means to give life to modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his artisanal know‑how into a recognized language of contemporary art, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one's most authentic talent.

In recent years his work has received important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious exhibitions. Among these are his participation in the Contemporary Art Exhibition "Arte Venezia" in 2025, collaboration with the Centro d'Arte e Cultura VERUM, and the inclusion of his works in the renowned Fuser Private Collection. From artisan to a signature of the Neo-Pop scene, Sagrasse shows how a lifetime of experience can be transformed into pure and recognized artistic expression.
Sagrasse is not simply an artist who uses resin; he is a master craftsman who has freed the technique from the constraint of function, putting it at the service of imagination. His works are colored mirrors in which our society is reflected: pop, bright, ironic, and irresistibly modern.
Sagrasse's work fits perfectly in the wake of New Pop Art and Urban Art. While the association with Banksy is evident due to the strong satirical charge, irony, and the ability to reinterpret icons of everyday life or pop culture in a critical key, Sagrasse's universe closely dialogues with other giants of the international scene such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, Richard Orlinski.
The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation.
It is a handmade work, conceived and produced entirely in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are the natural characteristic of completely manual workmanship.
It is recommended not to expose to heat sources; clean without using detergents, but only with a soft cloth.
