Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born 1966) is a Marche-based artist whose life is rooted in artisanal mastery. For forty years he worked in the shadow of his workshop in a small municipality among the Marche hills, specializing at the highest levels in resin work, painting, and chroming.
The turning point of his life comes with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and the suspension of time transform into an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he had always safeguarded. What for decades had been merely a technique of excellence becomes the means to give life to modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his artisan know-how into a recognized language of contemporary art, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one’s most authentic talent.

In recent years his work has received important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious exhibitions. Highlights include the presence at the Contemporary Art Exhibition "Arte Venezia" in 2025, collaboration with the VERUM Center for Art and Culture, and the inclusion of his works in the renowned Private Collection Fuser. From artisan to signature of the Neo-Pop scene, Sagrasse shows how a lifetime of experience can be transformed into pure and recognized artistic expression.
Sagrasse is not simply an artist who uses resin; he is a master craftsman who has freed the technique from the constraint of function, putting it at the service of imagination. His works are colorful mirrors in which our society is reflected: pop, brilliant, ironic, and irresistibly modern.
Sagrasse’s work fits perfectly in the lineage of New Pop Art and Urban Art. While the association with Banksy is evident for its strong satirical charge, irony, and the ability to reinterpret icons of everyday life or pop culture in a critical light, Sagrasse’s universe dialogues closely with other giants of the international scene such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, Richard Orlinski.
The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation.
It is a handmade artwork, conceived and produced entirely in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are the natural characteristic of entirely manual workmanship.
It is recommended not to expose to heat sources; clean only with a soft cloth, without detergents.
