Description from the seller
THE SHIPMENT COULD TAKE PLACE AFTER SEPTEMBER 7, 2026
Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born in 1966) is a Marche-based artist whose life runs deep in artisanal craft. For forty years he worked in the shadow of his workshop in a small municipality among the hills of the Marche region, specializing at the highest levels in resin processing, painting, and chrome plating.
The turning point of his life comes with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and time stoppage become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he had always guarded. What for decades had been "only" a technique of excellence thus becomes the means to give life to modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his artisan know-how into a language of contemporary art that is recognized, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one’s most authentic talent.

In recent years his work has received important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious exhibitions. Among these, notable include participation in the Contemporary Art Exhibition "Arte Venezia" in 2025, the collaboration with the Centro d'Arte e Cultura VERUM, and the inclusion of his works within the renowned Private Collection Fuser. From artisan to signature of the Neo-Pop panorama, Sagrasse demonstrates how a lifetime of experience can transform into pure and recognized artistic expression.
Sagrasse is not simply an artist who uses resin; he is a master craftsman who has freed the technique from the constraint of function, putting it at the service of imagination. His works are colored mirrors in which our society is reflected: pop, bright, ironic, and irresistibly modern.
Sagrasse’s work fits perfectly in the lineage of New Pop Art and Urban Art. While the association with Banksy is evident for its strong satirical charge, irony, and ability to reinterpret icons of everyday life or pop culture in a critical key, Sagrasse’s universe closely dialogues with other giants of the international scene such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, and Richard Orlinski.
The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation.
It is a handcrafted work, conceived and realized entirely in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are the natural characteristic of entirely manual workmanship.
It is recommended not to expose to heat sources; clean with a soft cloth only, without detergents.
