Description from the seller
Splendid porcelain cylindrical vase belonging to the famous series designed by Wolf Bauer in the 1970s for Studio-Linie of Rosenthal, in excellent condition for its production era (about 50 years old). The object shows no chips, hairlines, or cracks, neither on the upper edge nor on the supporting base. The colors of the decoration are vivid and wear-free; it has no scratches or damage and remains glossy, drawn and signed by Wolf Bauer, height 25 cm, width 13 cm. The junction line of the decalcomanie (also called decal), applied to porcelain before the final firing, shows a slight misalignment common to all vases in the series with a continuous and dense pattern like this. The object is enhanced by a refined abstract geometric grid graphic in indigo and white tones. The design bears the signature of the German artist Wolf Bauer, clearly visible on the lower side of the vase body. Under the base is the full factory mark 'Rosenthal Germany Studio-Linie'. It is exported to the entire European Union and only within the European Union. The lot will be packed with a double box or reinforced inner box and the fragile points protected by soft material or polystyrene, all wrapped in ample bubble wrap.
