Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born 1966) is a Marche-based artist whose life is rooted in artisanal mastery. For forty years he has worked in the shadow of his workshop in a small municipality among the hills of the Marche region, specializing at the highest levels in resin work, painting, and chroming.
The turning point in his life comes with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and the suspending of time become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he has always safeguarded. What for decades had been only a technique of excellence thus becomes the means to bring to life modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his artisanal know‑how into a recognized language of contemporary art, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one’s most authentic talent.

In recent years his work has received important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious exhibitions. Among these are notable appearances at the Contemporary Art Fair "Arte Venezia" in 2025, collaboration with the VERUM Art and Culture Center, and inclusion of his works within the renowned Fuser Private Collection. From artisan to signature of the Neo-Pop scene, Sagrasse shows how a lifetime of experience can become pure and recognized artistic expression.
Sagrasse is not merely an artist who uses resin; he is a master craftsman who has freed the technique from the constraint of function, putting it at the service of imagination. His works are colorful mirrors in which our society is reflected: pop, brilliant, ironic, and irresistibly modern.
Sagrasse’s work sits perfectly in the line of New Pop Art and Urban Art. If the association with Banksy is evident for the strong satirical charge, irony, and the ability to reinterpret icons of everyday life or pop culture in a critical key, Sagrasse’s universe closely dialogue with other giants of the international scene such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, Richard Orlinski.
The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation.
It is an artisanal work, designed and made entirely in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are a natural characteristic of entirely manual workmanship.
It is recommended not to expose to sources of heat; clean only with a soft cloth, avoiding detergents.
