Neapolitan presepe shepherd, entirely handmade by master artisans of San Gregorio Armeno and dating from the 1970s/1980s. The piece depicts a characteristic fishmonger seated beside his detail-rich stall, with nets, shells, starfish, baskets and fish. The face and limbs are finely modeled in terracotta, adorned with crystal eyes, which give great expressiveness and realism. The body is made according to the traditional presepe technique with a jointed structure and clothes handcrafted in fabric. Handmade wax objects. Base dimensions: 26x26 cm. Total height: 41 cm.
