Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born in 1966) is a Marche-based artist whose life is rooted in skilled craft. For forty years he has worked in the shadow of his workshop in a small municipality among the hills of the Marche region, specializing at the highest levels in resin work, painting, and chroming.

The turning point in his life comes with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and the suspension of time become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he has always harbored. What for decades had been "only" an exceptionally skilled technique thus becomes the means to give life to modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his artisanal know-how into a language of contemporary art recognized worldwide, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one's most authentic talent.
