Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born in 1966) is a Marche-born artist whose life is rooted in artisanal mastery. For forty years he worked behind the scenes of his workshop in a small town among the hills of the Marche region, specializing at the highest levels in resin processing, painting, and chrome plating.
The turning point of his life comes with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and suspension of time become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he had always kept inside. What for decades had been "only" a technique of excellence thus becomes the means to give life to modern, vibrant and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his craft know-how into a recognized language of contemporary art, proving that it's never too late to give voice to one's most authentic talent.

Measurements: 20x28x40cm

Edition: limited edition 299ex - silver

In recent years his work has earned important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious exhibitions. Among these are appearances at the Contemporary Art Exhibition "Arte Venezia" in 2025, collaboration with the VERUM Center of Art and Culture, and the inclusion of his works in the renowned Fuser Private Collection. From craftsman to a signature of the Neo-Pop scene, Sagrasse shows how a lifetime of experience can transform into pure and recognized artistic expression.
Sagrasse is not simply an artist who uses resin; he is a master craftsman who has liberated the technique from the constraint of function, putting it at the service of imagination. His works are colorful mirrors in which our society is reflected: pop, bright, ironic and irresistibly modern.
Sagrasse's work sits squarely in the vein of New Pop Art and Urban Art. While the association with Banksy is obvious for its strong satirical charge, irony, and ability to reinterpret everyday or pop culture icons in a critical light, Sagrasse's universe closely dialogues with other giants of the international scene such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, Richard Orlinski.
The piece is an exclusive Sagrasse creation. It is a handmade work, conceived and made entirely in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are a natural characteristic of the workmanship.
