Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born 1966) is an artist from the Marche region whose life is rooted in artisanal craftsmanship. For forty years he worked in the shadow of his workshop in a small municipality between the hills of Marche, specializing at the highest levels in resin casting, painting, and chrome plating.

The turning point of his life comes with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and the suspension of time become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he has always carried. What for decades had been "only" a technique of excellence thus becomes the means to bring to life modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his artisanal know‑how into a recognized language of contemporary art, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one’s most authentic talent.

Title - Freedom
Technique: resin
Dimensions: 26x25x6 cm
Condition: new.
Certificate of authenticity- hand-signed.
Edition: limited edition 999ex -green

In recent years his work has received important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious exhibitions. Among these are the presence at the Contemporary Art Exhibition "Arte Venezia" in 2025, the collaboration with the Centro d'Arte e Cultura VERUM, and the inclusion of his works in the renowned private collection Fuser. From craftsman to a hallmark of the Neo-Pop landscape, Sagrasse demonstrates how a lifetime of experience can transform into pure and recognized artistic expression.

Sagrasse is not merely an artist who uses resin; he is a master craftsman who has freed the technique from the constraint of function, putting it at the service of imagination. His works are colored mirrors in which our society reflects itself: pop, brilliant, ironic, and irresistibly modern.

Sagrasse’s work sits perfectly within the currents of New Pop Art and Urban Art. If the association with Banksy is evident for the strong satirical charge, the irony, and the ability to reinterpret everyday icons or pop culture in a critical key, Sagrasse’s universe closely dialogues with other giants of the international scene such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, Richard Orlinski.

The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation.
It is a handcrafted work, conceived and produced entirely in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are the natural characteristic of entirely manual workmanship.
It is recommended not to expose to heat sources; clean using only a soft cloth, not detergents.
