Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born in 1966) is a Marche-based artist whose life is rooted in artisanal craftsmanship. For forty years he has worked in the shadow of his workshop in a small municipality among the hills of the Marche region, specializing at the highest level in resin processing, painting, and chrome plating.
The turning point of his life comes with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and the suspension of time become an emotional catalyst, driving him to unleash the artistic urgency he had always kept inside. What for decades had been "only" a technique of excellence thus becomes the means to bring to life modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his artisanal know-how into a recognized language of contemporary art, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one's most authentic talent.
Title - Fuck Machine
Technique: resin
Dimensions: 52 x 14 x 14
Condition: new.
Certificate of authenticity - hand-signed
Edition: limited edition 100 ex. - Silver
The artwork will be carefully packaged and shipped via courier with tracking.
In recent years his work has received important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious exhibitions. Notable among these are his participation in the Contemporary Art Exhibition "Arte Venezia" in 2025, the collaboration with the VERUM Center for Art and Culture, and the inclusion of his works in the renowned Fuser Private Collection. From artisan to a signature of the Neo-Pop landscape, Sagrasse shows how a lifetime of experience can transform into pure and recognized artistic expression.
Sagrasse is not simply an artist who uses resin; he is a master craftsman who has liberated the technique from the constraint of function, putting it at the service of imagination. His works are colorful mirrors in which our society is reflected: pop, bright, ironic, and irresistibly modern.
Sagrasse’s work fits perfectly in the vein of New Pop Art and Urban Art. If the association with Banksy is evident for its strong satirical charge, irony, and ability to reinterpret everyday icons or pop culture in a critical light, Sagrasse’s universe closely dialogues with other giants of the international scene such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, Richard Orlinski.
The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation.
It is a handcrafted artwork, conceived and produced entirely in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are a natural characteristic of the entirely manual workmanship.
It is recommended not to expose it to heat sources; clean without using detergents, but only with a soft cloth.
