Springbank 18 Year Old 2019 Release Single Malt Whisky

This is the 2019 release of the 18 Year Old Single Malt from Springbank. It has been matured in a combination of bourbon and port casks.

Nose: Sweet and delicate, the peat is almost non-existent. Maritime sweetness, blueberries, orange marmelade, crème brûlée, vanilla frosting.

Taste: Much more complexity and dryness that the nose presents. Springbank peat mixed with ripe citrus fruit.

Finish: Rather long woody cardboard finish. Some wood comes through which shows the age.
