Description from the seller

THE SHIPMENT MIGHT ARRIVE AFTER SEPTEMBER 7, 2026

Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born 1966) is a Marche-born artist whose life is rooted in artisanal craftsmanship. For forty years he worked in the shadow of his workshop in a small municipality among the Marche hills, specializing at the highest level in resin processing, painting, and chrome plating.
The turning point in his life comes with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and the suspension of time become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he had always kept inside. What for decades had been "only" a technique of excellence thus becomes the means to give life to modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his know-how as a craftsman into a recognized language of contemporary art, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one’s most authentic talent.

In recent years his work has earned important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious exhibitions. Notably, participation in the Contemporary Art Exhibition "Arte Venezia" in 2025, collaboration with the VERUM Center of Art and Culture, and inclusion of his works within the renowned Private Collection Fuser. From craftsman to signature of the Neo-Pop panorama, Sagrasse proves how a life’s experience can transform into pure and recognized artistic expression.
Sagrasse is not simply an artist who uses resin; he is a master craftsman who has freed the technique from the constraint of function, putting it at the service of imagination. His works are colorful mirrors in which our society is reflected: pop, brilliant, ironic, and irresistibly modern.
Sagrasse’s work sits perfectly in the wake of New Pop Art and Urban Art. While the association with Banksy is evident for its strong satirical charge, irony, and the ability to reinterpret everyday icons or pop culture in a critical key, Sagrasse’s universe closely dialogues with other giants of the international scene such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, Richard Orlinski.
The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation.
It is a handcrafted work, conceived and produced entirely in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are the natural characteristic of entirely manual workmanship.
It is recommended not to expose it to heat sources; clean with only a soft cloth, without using detergents.
