Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born 1966) is a Marche-born artist whose life is rooted in artisanal craft. For forty years he worked in the shadow of his workshop in a small municipality among the Marche hills, specializing at the highest levels in resin work, varnishing, and chrome plating.
The turning point of his life comes with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and suspension of time become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he had always kept inside. What for decades had been only a technique of excellence thus becomes the means to bring to life modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his artisanal know-how into a recognized language of contemporary art, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one’s most authentic talent.

In recent years his work has received important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious exhibitions. Among them are the presence at the Contemporary Art Exhibition "Arte Venezia" in 2025, the collaboration with the Centro d'Arte e Cultura VERUM, and the inclusion of his works in the renowned Fuser Private Collection. From craftsman to signature of the Neo-Pop scene, Sagrasse demonstrates how a lifetime of experience can transform into pure and recognized artistic expression.
Sagrasse is not simply an artist who uses resin; he is a master artisan who has freed the technique from the constraint of function, putting it at the service of imagination. His works are colorful mirrors in which our society is reflected: pop, brilliant, ironic, and irresistibly modern.
Sagrasse’s work sits perfectly in the lineage of New Pop Art and Urban Art. If the association with Banksy is evident due to the strong satirical charge, irony, and the ability to reinterpret icons of everyday life or pop culture in a critical key, Sagrasse’s universe closely dialogues with other giants of the international scene such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, Richard Orlinski.
The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation.
It is a handmade work, conceived and produced entirely in Italy.
The small imperfections that may be found are the natural characteristic of fully manual workmanship.
It is recommended not to expose to heat sources; clean only with a soft cloth, avoiding detergents.
