Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born in 1966) is a Marche-based artist whose life runs deep in artisanal craft. For forty years he has worked in the shadow of his workshop in a small municipality among the hills of Marche, specializing at the highest levels in resin processing, varnishing and chrome plating.
The turning point in his life comes with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and the suspension of time become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he has always nurtured. What for decades had been "only" a technique of excellence thus becomes the means to bring to life modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his artisan know-how into a recognized language of contemporary art, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one’s most authentic talent.

In recent years his work has earned important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious exhibitions. Among these are the presence at the Contemporary Art Exhibition "Arte Venezia" in 2025, the collaboration with the Centro d'Arte e Cultura VERUM, and the inclusion of his works in the renowned Private Collection Fuser. From artisan to signature of the Neo-Pop landscape, Sagrasse shows how a lifetime’s experience can transform into pure and recognized artistic expression.

Sagrasse is not simply an artist who uses resin; he is a master craftsman who has freed the technique from the constraint of function, putting it at the service of imagination. His works are colorful mirrors in which our society is reflected: pop, brilliant, ironic and irresistibly modern.

Sagrasse’s work fits perfectly in the line of New Pop Art and Urban Art. While the comparison to Banksy is evident for its strong satirical charge, irony, and ability to reinterpret everyday icons or pop culture in a critical key, Sagrasse’s universe closely dialogues with other giants of the international scene such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, Richard Orlinski.

The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation.
It is a handcrafted piece, conceived and produced entirely in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are the natural characteristic of entirely manual workmanship.
It is recommended not to expose to heat sources; clean only with a soft cloth, without detergents.
