Violin 4/4
with a human head supporting the strings
Labelled “Cesare Candi made in Genoa in the year 1937 C.c.”
Back length (excluding the neck root): 362 mm.
Total length: 590 mm.
Width of the upper bouts: 165 mm; middle bouts: 122 mm; lower bouts: 207 mm.
The instrument is ready to be played, inspected by a luthier and with strings changed
The new case is included
The instrument is ready to be played without cracks. Ebony fittings, Aubert bridge made by the master luthier and new strings.
The violin has a single-piece back made from beautiful wood with soft figure, with a matching neck and scroll; the top is also of high quality, spruce with straight grain
The sound is powerful and bright
