A charming collection of four vintage Italian Florentine-style wooden decorative boxes, dating from the mid-20th century. Crafted from wood, each box is richly decorated with carved and embossed ornamental motifs inspired by Renaissance and Baroque designs.
The lids are embellished with decorative images, including Renaissance-inspired portraits, religious iconography, and a scenic pastoral landscape, giving each piece its own distinctive character. Their warm honey-brown finish and decorative relief work make them attractive display pieces as well as practical trinket or jewellery boxes.
The collection consists of:
1 domed-top box with a pastoral landscape decoration.
1 box with floral print
2 square boxes with Renaissance-style portrait decorations.
Condition: Good vintage condition with signs of age and use. Losses to the finish and wear on the wood.
