Rare antique two-piece chocolate mold of a seated ape, manufactured by the renowned German maker Hermann Walter (Berlin). The partly visible stamp “…WALTER & Co” is still present on the edge of the mold. Hermann Walter was from 1866 one of the leading producers of high-quality chocolate molds and supplied thousands of different designs to chocolatiers across Europe.
