Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born in 1966) is a Marche-born artist whose life is rooted in artisanal craftsmanship. For forty years he has worked in the shadow of his workshop in a small municipality among the Marche hills, specializing at the highest levels in resin processing, painting, and chrome plating.
The turning point in his life comes with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and the suspension of time become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he has always guarded. What for decades had been merely a technique of excellence thus becomes the means to give life to modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his artisanal know-how into a recognized language of contemporary art, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one’s most authentic talent.

Dimensions: 38x38x10 cm

Edition: limited edition 100 ex. Gold and metal gun

In recent years his work has received important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious exhibitions. Notable among these are the presence at the Contemporary Art Event 'Arte Venezia' in 2025, the collaboration with the VERUM Center of Art and Culture, and the inclusion of his works within the renowned Fuser Private Collection. From artisan to sign of the Neo-Pop panorama, Sagrasse shows how a life’s experience can transform into pure and recognized artistic expression.
Sagrasse is not simply an artist who uses resin; he is a master craftsman who has freed the technique from the constraint of function, putting it at the service of imagination. His works are colored mirrors in which our society is reflected: pop, bright, ironic, and irresistibly modern.
Sagrasse’s work sits perfectly within the line of New Pop Art and Urban Art. While the resemblance to Banksy is evident for the strong satirical charge, irony, and the ability to reinterpret everyday icons or pop culture in a critical key, Sagrasse’s universe closely dialogues with other giants of the international scene such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, Richard Orlinski.
The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation.
It is a handmade work, conceived and produced entirely in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are the natural characteristic of entirely manual workmanship.
It is recommended not to expose it to heat sources; clean with a soft cloth only, without detergents.
