Traditional Tibetan dagger (Tibet or Himalayan region), 20th century. Scabbard in white metal, entirely repoussé with scrollwork and stylized animal motifs. Grip with a tapered handle made of twisted and braided metal wire, pierced pommel revealing a red fabric background. Straight blade in steel with a sharp point. Blade 15 cm, handle 8 cm, total length with scabbard 24 cm. Signs of use and oxidation on the blade, slight play at the scabbard fitting.
From a private collection. Sold without a certificate of authenticity; origin and precise dating not guaranteed.
